GLAMOUR MAG x FACEBOOK LUNCHEON

"later that night i held an atlas in my lap ran my fingers across the whole world + whispered where does it hurt? it answered everywhere everywhere everywhere." - warson shire
These past weeks I've found myself paralyzed by the events going on in the world. Nothing new - I'm a highly sensitive soul. Last week I worked from bed because it hurt to even go to the gym + see 235 tv screens replaying such horror + hurt.
I cried + cried + cried. Part of me felt so helpless yet so moved to continue on being the light. Being the light in a world that needs it - now more than ever. I continued to ship orders with love.

On Monday, July 11th, Danielle Brooks attended the Glamour x Facebook Luncheon at New York City's Samsung 837 to discuss the 2016 presidential election.

Our "Treat everybody like they are somebody." clutch clearly resonated with her + she felt moved to leave the house with it in hand.

Things blew up, my voice was being heard. The Chelsea a week ago who cried + prayed in her room held on to hope + faith in knowing that she would be able to move mountains in this world.

What's pushing you? What are you standing for? What is happening in this world that you feel motivated to change? Don't just stand. I ask that you stand for something. The world needs you. Yes - YOU.
